Today my boss gave me a very belated Christmas present - a gorgeous 1906 edition of Milton's Comus with illustrations by Jessie King, in this amazing gilt-stamped red leather binding that is just - unf, it's incredible.

My job has good perks some days.

I like how I spent most of the day at work going "HRRRGH JUST WANT TO GO HOME AND WRITE AU," and as soon as I got home and opened the document - "HRRRRRGH JUST WANT TO CLICK PIXEL CREATURES FUCK WRITING." Whoops, missed a day due to overwhelming Saturday laziness... Well, at least I had a great Saturday? The weather went from partly cloudy and in the 70s this morning to WALL OF WATER just as I was about to leave work. I've tried driving home in hurricane conditions before (as an undergrad); this time I elected to play a few rounds of Solitaire until the rain didn't look like sheets any more.
